My Dad’s been making really cool fish and duck art for over 30 years.
We photographed every piece and made him an online showroom

I initiated a special edition collaboration between two brands I love.
TALL WHITE WALL
TallWhiteWall.com is an experiment in visual+thematic transitions or something. Each photo connects to its surroundings. The site is meant to encourage visitors to experience the tall white wall top to bottom without the distraction of links, likes, notes, crap, comments, shares.
ALPÌN DREAM
I made Alpindream.com in the same spirit as Tall White Wall in celebration
and support of the US Alpine Ski Team at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
DEAD ART SHOW
Long inspired by the Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos, I encouraged friends and colleagues to create an original piece for a 2-day online sale of muertos-themed artwork. Proceeds went to a children's shelter in Mexico.

Sometimes I start a side project, sometimes I finish one.
B-ROLL STUFF
I enjoy shooting behind-the-scenes material for brand content, look books, and maxing out my hard drives.
COUSTEAU COLLECTIVE
Cousteau Collective was a month-long pop-up agency created by 10 Hyper Island students. We designed our team to be able to pop up anywhere in the world and solve briefs in a flash. We branded our 'lil agency, pitched our services, sold ourselves on Ebay to the Swedish Lottery and drank a thousand beers.
UX DESIGN FOR SVERIGES TELEVISION
With every show at our fingertips, many of us spend more time looking for what we wanna watch vs. actually watching what we wanna watch. We created the 'SVT Playline' for Sweden's most popular streaming service. 'Playline' is a new way to organize your favorite shows and maximize viewing time.
SAMSUNG
Samsung asked us to communicate the value of 4G. The faster 4G network allows for real-time interaction, which sparked an idea for how to pass the time faster when time's at its slowest. 
TED TALKS X MISS WORLD
On World Peace Day, we had 24 hours to fill a creative commons database with ideas on ways to promote and enable peaceful actions. The TED x Miss World concept combines the world's brightest brains and beauties on a global stage with massive viewership.
BENETTON LIVE WINDOWS
"Windows of the World" is a store display window featuring a live street view of other cities in the Global Benetton store network.
HYPER SWEDEN BLOG
This is the blog I kept during my time in Stockholm when blogs were the thing. Now it's 6 years later so click w/ caution. 
I spent 2011-12 in Stockholm for Hyper Island's Interactive Art Director program.
Beyond meatballs and clashing with Swedes, here's the stuff that kept me busy.
TED TALKS X MISS WORLD

I work across strategy, copy, art direction and design in the worlds of advertising, publishing and media. I like to help brands do things that people enjoy.
SP1 is a wireless bluetooth speaker by Antec Mobile Products. We designed the brand from scratch, grew a huge social presence with no media money, and carved out a niche for SP1 among 14-21 yr-old Euro millennials in an insanely crowded market.

Wieden+Kennedy and Equinox challenged hardcore New York fitness enthusiasts to go after something they couldn't buy– something which could only be earned: the exclusive Equinox Gold Membership. We placed five memberships in extremely difficult-to-reach locations in NYC. Hundreds attempted, five got gold. Even Neil Patrick Harris tried and failed and we didn't even pay him. 
I spent three years in Berlin working as a multi-functioning creative and art director at VICE's in-house brand agency. It was a major shit-show-crash-course in all the best
ways while navigating the foreign world of publishing, media, and German clients. 
I learned the art of busting out several decks a week and had a lot of fun working
with people like Benji, Tom, Tom, Helch, Sarah, and the following clients:
Superfly is the soul and brains of legendary festivals like Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and Clusterfest. They rally around good music and good vibes for the making of the good times.
I've worked with Superfly across a variety of projects over the past few years, mainly in the design and development of multi-platform experiences for brands like:
VICE launched the 'All Originals Represent' campaign in Germany to showcase the power of surrounding yourself with a solid crew. We set out to find and celebrate the most original crews in the country, rolling out the fully integrated #represent campaign in three phases: 1. Tease #represent. 2. Launch CTA. 3. Reward winner with huge party + dream project.
After months of crew love, it came down to 3 finalists, AND TEAM WOLF TAKES TOP PRIZE!
Team Wolf is the Berlin-based artist, skater, shenanigan-making crew. Adidas x VICE helped them 
realize their dream project, embarking on a wild road trip to track wolves through Eastern Europe. 

Google approached Superfly to help reinvent its annual global developers conference, Google I/O. Since developers are arguably the renaissance artists of our time, we wanted to shake up I/O’s 10-year convention to establish a new image for some of the brightest minds in the world. Superfly built the entire concept from the ground up. The result was an immersive, festival-style tech-meets-art experience in Google’s backyard, Shoreline Amphitheater.

 

My personal role in the project was to help design the program for kids: I/O Youth, a day-long conference established to inspire kids to invent and explore through technology. We themed it out monster-style and watched kids' minds get blown through coding, 3D printing and game design.   

Sprite asked W+K to revive 'Obey Your Thirst' and help the brand reconnect to its hip hop roots. The thought was simple: Sprite and culture intersect at the neighborhood bodega... so we built a real bodega in New York City. 
The Sprite Corner was a 2-month-long summer hip hop experience packed with live events across
music, art, fashion, film, comedy, food and insane amount of Sprite. We stocked the deli case
with custom swag and decked the shelves with our own Spritey bodega products. 
The Corner was also a content factory and unique media experiment. We partnered with VICE,
Comedy Central, BET, Complex and Fader to produce and distribute content for each event.

X-BOX ONE STUDIO ONE
Our aim was to get Euro millennials excited about the new XBOX One. We figured why not just let'm try the thing. We created Studio One: über hip arcades in four cities leading up to the launch of the product and just in time for Christmaslist time.

RAY-BAN 'THE ORDER OF NEVER HIDE'
We enlisted a few VICE friends to bring a cultish digital campaign to life in the form of teaser films and a mega-bash with our favorite frontman Jessie Hughes from Eagles of Death Metal
and Sven Marquardt, the legendary stone-cold bouncer from Berghain. Weird times.

G-SHOCK
In commemoration of its 30th anniversary, we created a pan-euro campaign for G-Shock
celebrating the spirit of toughness in the design world. We made special edition product with artists and designers from 7 cities across Europe, throwing a party in each city to launch their creations.

KETEL ONE
In collaboration with Wallpaper magazine, we launched a campaign to find and support the
world's most interesting and innovative craftspeople. We received thousands of entries, launched
exhibitions for the winners and put Ketel One on the lips of modern crafty folk in Europe.

I got a story for you. Plus a story platform! Multi-platform stories. 'Content, content, content!' platforms. Trans-platform storytelling. Brands? Publishers! Storytellers. Published storytellers! Editorial integration.

OPEL 'ADAM' CAR
VICE launched 'Adam' to market with a campaign centered around artist interpretations of car features like customizable color!  Sporty and muscular!  Fancy docking station!
